A few simple habits keep your piece looking the way it did the day you got it — for years, and for whoever wears it next.
Remove your jewellery when exercising, swimming, or at the gym; cleaning or doing housework with harsh chemicals; gardening or other hands-on activities; applying lotions, perfumes, or makeup (put your jewellery on last); sleeping; or showering and bathing.
While diamonds are incredibly hard, the setting and band can be more delicate — we recommend an annual inspection, and immediate attention if a stone ever feels loose.
Solid gold won't rust from water exposure, but daily wear causes a natural patina over time. Avoid excessive force to keep your piece looking its best.
White gold is plated with rhodium for its shine. Over time, this coating wears and needs re-plating — complimentary within the first 12 months of purchase.
Diamonds are hard, but not invincible. Regular setting inspections prevent chipping from impact or contact with other diamonds. For a quick clean, wipe with a lint-free cloth; for a deeper clean, use warm water, mild soap, and a soft toothbrush.
Handle pavé pieces gently, and check them regularly — with so many small stones set close together, looseness shows here first.
Remove before bathing or swimming. Clean with a damp, soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid bleach and ultrasonic cleaners — the vibration can crack or cloud opals, and break down the oil or resin used to treat emeralds and other softer stones.
Store each piece individually, in a microfibre pouch or lined box, to prevent scratching against other jewellery. Clean monthly with mild soap, warm water, and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly. Every piece comes with lifetime complimentary cleaning and polishing.
